Reopening the Shed

With Queensland’s coronavirus restrictions recently eased to stage 2, it is now possible for us to reopen the Shed so long as we meet the safe operating requirements. We are currently working on how we can comply with those requirements in our two buildings and in conducting our various Shed activities. Hopefully we’ll have our safe operating procedures ironed out over the next couple of weeks and then be in a position to reopen. We’ll give you as much notice of this as possible.

In the meantime, and if you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to get this year’s flu vaccination and to download the COVIDSafe app on to your phone.  As with the many safety procedures you’ll encounter when you return to the Shed, these two measures are important considerations in how we should be looking out for each other at the Shed.

I’m looking forward to catching up with you in person soon.

ATGMS activities will cease UnTil Further notice

To all ATGMS Members,

Back in March when we closed the Shed for coronavirus, we advised it was until the end of May.  It’s now the end of May but as you would appreciate, the current restrictions still don’t allow us to reopen. So the Shed will remain closed while we wait on the official approvals from the Queensland Government and the Brisbane City Council to reopen.  In the meantime, your Committee will be developing the necessary procedures and guidelines for how we need to operate when we do get the word.  We will keep you informed as things become clearer.

Kind Regards,

Roy Hinchy
